The Role of Compound Enzymes in Poultry Farming

Enzyme preparations have been discovered and utilized for a long time, but with the deepening of research, the shortcomings of single enzyme preparations, such as single function, have been found. Therefore, the concept of complex enzymes has been proposed. In recent years, complex enzymes have played an important role in chicken breeding, effectively improving nutrient utilization and promoting the healthy growth of chickens.

Complex enzymes compete for harmful microorganisms' attachment sites.

After entering the chicken's intestine, complex enzymes can effectively compete for recognition sites on the epithelial cells of the chicken's intestine, thereby avoiding the attachment of harmful bacteria at the same site and preventing the initial settlement of harmful bacteria, which would create an environment conducive to the breeding of harmful bacteria, effectively inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria.

Complex enzymes promote intestinal inhibition of harmful bacteria.

Some complex enzymes can activate certain metabolic pathways after binding to certain organelles on the cell, producing some antibiotics that directly kill harmful bacteria. In addition, organic acids may also be produced, effectively regulating and balancing the intestinal environment that has been damaged by harmful bacteria and forming an external environment that is unfavorable for the growth of harmful bacteria, thereby reducing the reproduction of harmful bacteria in the intestine.

Complex enzymes produce beneficial metabolites.

Complex enzymes in chicken will further promote the production of proteases, amylases, lipases, organic acids, and other substances by intestinal cells. These metabolites of probiotics can help chickens better digest and absorb nutrients, promote the effective synthesis of B vitamins, and activate mineral elements, thereby helping chickens achieve nutritional balance and effectively improving their growth rate.

Complex enzymes enhance immunity.

Some complex enzymes, like protease enzymes, have a structure similar to the antigenic substances of harmful bacteria. After entering the intestine, they can stimulate the chicken's immune system to produce corresponding antibodies, thereby enhancing the chicken's immune ability. In addition, the formation of related memory cells can also help the chicken quickly form a response mechanism, forming an efficient protective network to resist the invasion of harmful bacteria.

Complex enzymes transform crude fiber for intestinal digestion and absorption.

Complex enzymes are often mixed into the chicken's feed and usually remain in the stomach for 3-4 hours after being ingested by the chicken. Although this time is short, it gives complex enzymes an opportunity to degrade the crude feed, that is, to process crude feed that is unfavorable for intestinal digestion and absorption. Although it cannot completely decompose crude fiber, it can transform part of the crude fiber into easily absorbed substances like sugar and amino acids, which improves the feed utilization rate and helps fatten chickens.
